Eurotrip

Haha i spent the early hours of the morning gathering songs to construct my euro mixtape, which will most likely be what i will listen to throughout most of Europe. Its jammed packed with tunes from the ”not so recent” like The Marvelettes, Tears for Fears, The Kinks, Boney M, Tori Amos, and Belinda Calisle, to the newer sounds of Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, John Mayer, Hot Hot Heat, OK go, and of course the beautiful Norah Jones. And of course, many many many more. Lol.

 

While gathering the songs I needed, Amirul and I were busy watching track and field videos of the great runners of our time, as well as close up ass shots of Russia’s World Pole Vault record holder Yelena Isinbeyeva. Amazing girl. No points for guessing who initiated this bout of visual satisfaction. HAHA! For those who know us, its actually a pretty tough guess.

 

In any case, I’ll be gone in approximately 5 hours form now and im looking forward to airplane food and video on demand. Hopefully, the guilt of abandoning a vacations worth of projects for this holiday will be bearable. I still haven’t figured how I’m gonna deal with the issue of peer evaluation when the time comes. I seem to be getting alot of attention from my friends relating to my departure to Europe. Most people seemed to express quite bluntly the notion that the world is unfair, that how come “I” get to go to Europe. But i guess underneath it all they are all just concerned. Awwww, right? right! RIGHT?!

 

To Shearen, be cool and take care of things while im away. Gonna miss you. Alright! off to fully load up my PSP to take with me to Europe. See you all in 10 days time!
